Client: Kenya Vision 2030   |   Project: Soft Power Advocacy to Drive Political & Business Engagement   |   Expertise: International

We were tasked to manage H.E. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Vice President of Kenya’s visit to London during the London Paralympic Games. The brief extended to securing international and national media coverage around the visit, publicly launching Kenya’s Vision 2030 campaign, and to organise an event reception in His honour targeting the UK business, political and investment community. The UK Visit began with a morning rally, where Mr Musyoka, together with other distinguished Kenyan leaders from a variety of fields, addressed the 1,000 strong Kenyan Diaspoa at a gathering in Central London. This was followed by a private soiree in His honour, inviting and managing a guest list of 200 individuals from the UK and international business and investment community. We secured attendance from the diplomatic community, business leaders, senior politicians, policy advisers, high net worth individuals to influential members of the UK Kenyan Diaspora community and representation from South Asia, Qatar, Russia, China, Israel, and the UK, resulting in a number of high level investment discussions.

EXTENSIVE POSITIONING MEDIA COVERAGE WAS ALSO SECURED ACROSS OUTLETS SUCH AS CNN INTERNATIONAL, WALL STREET JOURNAL, DOW JONES, THE ECONOMIST MAGAZINE, FT: AFRICA CONFIDENTIAL, THE GUARDIAN GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT BLOG, BBC WORLD TV: FOCUS ON AFRICA TO BLOOMBERG.
